stupid question on a number of levels man

1 newer multi core processers run vista faster
2 vista is a much larger, newer and bulky'r OS (in both good ways and bad)
3 same question only with windows 3.11 vs windows XP, which will run faster? 3.11 does that mean we should all use 3.11?

To tell the truth, Windows Vista itself runs very fast, but older software like older games, photoshop and shit will not run as reliable as it would with Windows XP, but newer software and games runs a whole lot better on Windows Vista then it would on XP.

Well, I've got XP Professional running on my Desktop, and Vista Premium running on my Laptop. All in all, I prefer XP, though that might just be because I've used it for so long. Not to say that I haven't had trouble with XP, but it's a computer, who doesn't have trouble with them? Vista runs 'alright' on my Laptop, though I'm tempted to partition it for XP. The one thing that keeps happening when I'm using Vista, is the Keyboard Manager keeps 'not responding'. On the other hand, my Desktop with XP is just completely broken (the motherboard is fecked) so I can't really say too much about that...

All in all, I prefer XP, though I like a decent number of features on Vista that aren't available on XP.

Vista home premium is the best, just upgrade to sp1 and edit and tweak your system and it beats any OS

Maybe I should phrase it differently...Apart from the aero graphics it does the same thing where 3.11 doesn't do the same thing as XP ?
Each to their own.
