Virtua Cop 2 - Portable


Divided into three episodes of increasing difficulty, players will have to make their way up to the final boss of each level where they can expect serious trouble. But before that, players will encounter dozens, even hundreds of enemies that they will need to take care of, armored with only one weapon. Fortunely you can reload it at will should your weapon run out of bullets! If your shooting skills are good enough, additional weapons become available as you progress throughout the game, but they can only be used temporarily as the ammunition won't last for long. At most, players will only use them for a few seconds before returning to their first weapon.

For those who are not familiar with the arcade title Virtua Cop and its sequel, the game features a 3D first-person perspective and a total freedom of where you want to shoot. At least in the area that you can see on screen, because there are no other possibilities of movement in VS2 than to follow the predetermined path across the 3D environment. VS2 is essentially a 3D shooter where speed and aiming represent the two keys to success.

AND YES! – This game works PERFECT under XP (SP2) as I have played this game a number of times and had NO problems!

The main window of Bejeweled 2 Deluxe displays a gameboard filled with diamonds, rubies, and other gems. You must switch pieces around to make groups of three, but you only can move a gem if doing so will result in forming a combination.

In Classic mode, reaching a set number of points promotes you to the next level; the game ends when you run out of moves. Action mode features a meter that steadily decreases, though you can refill it by making good moves. Puzzle mode lets you practice cascade and special techniques to clear the board. Endless mode resembles Action, except you have to fill the meter to move onto the next level.

The graphics and audio are both decent, if a little too space-agey for our taste. You can adjust the music and sound effects on a slider or mute them altogether. You also can resize the game to a full-screen mode. We found Bejeweled 2 Deluxe both addictive and challenging. Fans of puzzle games should give this one a try. Good portable arcade games
