I got a movie piracy letter. -

They sent it to me via e-mail while I was away at my tournament. It was from 21st century Fox, and it don't look too good. Looks like I'll have to be uploading anything but movies for a while at least. But overall, this just fucking sucks. I've been downloading movies for over a year now, and now I get caught.:@
Got a scan of it? (I'm a cynical bastard!)
Usually your ISP sends you a letter not the company affected.
Unless you were the one releasing them (say you were FxG or aXXo), because companys never attack smalltime uploaders such as yourself.
And yeh your loss.
A few tips to help you not get caught.
- Stay away from P2P
- Use proxies to download (Harder to find you apparently)
- Limewire = NO (Just LOL if you do)
- Torrents = NO (The dl2ul ratio gives you away not to mention your IP is given out)
- Don't download excessively (i limit myself to 6GB dl and 200MB ul)
- Don't max out your bandwidth when downloading - let it download at it's rate.
Good Luck with that but im suprised they never fined you.

They can detect Torrent use that's why you've been flagged... move onto rapidshare/megaupload etc, they haven't figured that out...well not yet anyway.
what if u use a private torrent site? is it better than using pirate bay?
