I could only see my C:\ drive. Please I really need some help.....

Hey..Thanks for your offer to help, I had managed to resolve the issue by opening the casing of the PC and did "disconnect and reconnect" of the cables to the DVD Drive, and it came back. You know, small things are easily forgotten(
